Christmas on Providence Prairie

We had fun at Providence Prairie for Christmas!  Lots of fun, fun, fun!  We played several games and visited with each other!   Trey and Clair even went and looked at a new car- and got it!
Justus received a Dewalt tool box from Grandaddy and Grammy.  He will receive one tool every Christmas after this until he turns 18 and then he will have a stocked tool box!  What a grand idea!  He fits inside it right now. :)

Christmas at Grandad and Great Grandma Roth's

We headed over to Grandad and Great-Grandma's house on the Monday following Christmas to celebrate some more!  Aunt Jamie hitched a ride with us and we enjoyed our trip over singing Christmas songs!
I received a Willow Tree figurine- a mother and father are holding their baby!

Our Christmas!

The days heading up to Christmas were busy with baking and fruit baskets!  What fun!
A few of the fruit baskets made for our customers

Mommy made a Santa for Daddy too!
Justus found it was just in reach sitting on the table and scraped all of the black icing off and ate it.  You can see that his mouth is all black
Shame, shame! :)
Christmas morning, after worshiping at Pleasant Ridge, we came home and had a delicious turkey dinner!

We then took some family pictures and opened our stockings.

Funny Faces!

Presents under the tree
It was then time for Justus to take a nap, so after putting him down, we all decided to get a little needed rest.  (I had just finished Justus' stocking at 3 a.m. Christmas morning!)
Ahh. . . refreshed from a nap

When we all woke up, we then opened presents!
Justus and Daddy are excited to open presents

It was so much fun! Justus enjoyed the whole affair as much as Mommy and Daddy did!

The newest stocking!

Justus' new sled

His favorite gift- a pillow pet!  It's his new favorite thing to cuddle with.  He absolutely loves it!

Daddy got a new John Deere billfold and a 3D  Sculpture puzzle of King Tut.

Mommy got a Travelers Calligraphy/Spencerian Writing Kit

And a fuzzy new jacket

All the opened presents!
We watched some classic Christmas specials, ate supper, and enjoyed each others company until time for bed!

It wasn't a White Christmas, but a few days later we got our first snow of the year!

We opened the blinds on the window for Justus to see the snow coming down and he started bouncing up and down!

He was born during a large snow/ice storn

Our pretty sign in the snow!
