Making Sugar Cookies

Justus helped Mommy make sugar cookies with a fall flair!  He cut out cookies and even learned by watching to scoot his cookie cutter in the flour before cutting out the cookies.  Needless to say, we both were a mess, but we are making wonderful memories!

Just a Few More Days!

Thought we would share a few pictures.  Yep, we are full term now!  Three more days until our due date!  October 13th (my Dad's birthday) is the marked day- now to wait and see when this bundle of joy will make his or her debut.  We are so excited for this new addition to our family.  Our God is an awesome God!

Nesting

This Momma has been nesting as of late.  Here are a few things I've accomplished.

A skirt for the bassinet 

I started working on a baby blanket and picked out yarn that I thought would work for a boy or girl.  After the blanket was finished, it looked very girl-y, so I decided to make a second blanket that looked more like a boy. :)

Baby booties and a hat

Justus loves the blankets and booties and hat and will hold them and
feel how soft they are and say, "Baby!  Baby!"  He knows who they are for.

He is going to be such a good big brother

Hurry. . . Vote Quick for State's Attorney :)

We have been working on putting out signs for Chris Quick who is running for State's Attorney in Lawrence County.  We have had fun  driving all over the countryside!

Justus is even helping.  He loves to carry the signs!

Most of the time we sit happily in the car as Daddy "quickly" (ha ha, no pun intended) puts up the signs.

The Hat

Last year, Grammy embroidered hats for all of the kids.  Justus is now big enough to wear his and he sported it proudly as we went on a walk one chilly evening!
