Christmas with McDaniels and Resors

All of my family were able to traverse to Ohio this year for Christmas with extended family.  The scenery on the way was gorgeous!

We stopped to visit our neighbors in Pricetown, OH- Bob and Jane Roush.  They were delighted to have a visit from Ryan, Amanda, Justus, Moriah and Trey and Clair.

We stayed with Clair's parents in their beautiful log cabin.

At Granny and Papaw Resor's house we got to visit with Brittany and her baby Jayden.

Here are four generations of middle name Kay.  My Granny- Judy Kay, my Mom- Rhonda Kay, Me- Amanda Kay, and the newest- Moriah Kay.

Walking back to the cars at the bottom of the hill.  My grandparents live way up a hill and most of the vehicles couldn't make it to the top since it had just snowed.  It was a beautiful walk.
We then visited with the McDaniel side of the family.
We finally were able to take a five-generation picture.  Justus and Moriah Cox, Amanda Cox, Mark McDaniel, Doris McDaniel, and Mary Skaggs.  She is Justus and Moriah's Great-Great Mamaw.
Back in Illinois, we were able to celebrate Christmas with my immediate family before heading back home.  The snow was still on the ground, so we enjoyed some good old-fashioned sled riding.  What fun!

The boys were even busy building snow forts

Ryan's was rather impressive!

Justus had a blast!
We had a lot of fun!

More Snow

I used my doughnut pans I got for Christmas and here was the result. Yummy!

Crazy snow hanging way over the roof of a local building

I wonder why that deer has his head in the snow. :)

Justus is ready to play in the snow!

All the snow on our roof slid off into a huge pile in front of our house!
