After several years of rain and storms, the old arbor finally stood its last and collapsed. We were all very sad as that was the place where Ryan asked me to marry him and also where Trey asked Clair. One weekend while we were visiting, my Dad and Ryan rebuilt it. The finished product was beautiful. Now all of my other sisters and brothers will have a place for their engagements to take place someday. :) We joked that no one else would have ever gotten married if we hadn't have rebuilt it. Hee! Hee!
It was the first thing we noticed when we pulled in the lane at Mom and Dad's! It is very beautiful, especially with the rose bushes tied along the sides and top. Sweet memories...
